BA-AD Auto-Drilling Control System

The BA-AD Auto Drilling Control System provides for constant WOB control, constant penetration speed control, and precise traveling block position control. Employing the latest in advanced control technology, this system can automatically adjust the drilling process according to a wide range of variables, based on its ability to “learn” to react to specified changes in drilling conditions. The use of the BA-AD delivers a number of important benefits including reduced drill bit wear, ease of use, and a high level of precision and efficiency in drilling operations.

The BA-AD Auto Drilling Control System is available in three models:

• The BA-AD-1 – an auxiliary motor auto-drilling control system
• The BA-AD-2 – a main motor auto-drilling control system
• The BA-AD-3 – a main and auxiliary motor auto-drilling control system

Each of these models is designed to be used in conjunction with all Bright Automation VFD and SCR drive systems.
